I am in Forks Washington!!

I made it! I am in Forks Washington! Stephenie Meyer Days starts on Thursday at 1500hrs. I have good internet connection, so I will be able to update the missing days and daily with all the Stephenie Meyer Day events. This will be last post shared on Facebook. I will update missing days later, need to get settled some. I'm in Forks Motel if anyone needs to call me. As always comments on this blog are always appreciated. Take care until later. Abby

    I love the Thriftway there!!! It has always had great selection of foods for the tiny town that it is! and Clothes and the connected hardware store is pretty good there too. Hopefully you will never need to use any of them! Ok maybe the food if you need a hike snack.
    Glad you are safe and doing well. I can't wait for your fill in reports.

    Isn't it lovely? We enjoyed it very much on our trip. HAVE FUN! Is the Twilight store still there? Make sure you have the lady at the Tourist Center SIGN the FORKS book for you!

      Yes, Alice's Closet declared bankruptcy March April of this year. Dazzled by Twilight had a fire that put them out of business. Lepell's and Native to Twilight are the two stores left open with majority of items Twilight related.

      I had heard about Dazzled by Twilight had shut down and then a fire took care of the building. I visited Forks in July 2011 and had a great time at Alice's Closet. I find it so sad to see these businesses close down.
      I wish Stephenie Meyer Day was during the summer, I would have gone this year, my work schedule doesn't allow me to take time off at the beginning of September.
